Carter King
Farm COORDINATOR
Growing up in Clinton, Carter was surrounded by agriculture from a young age. From helping his grandpa with cows and turkeys to baling hay, those early experiences shaped the passion he carries into his work today.
After high school, Carter attended Sampson Community College, where he received his EMS certification and later attended the Fire Academy, while also working in the land clearing business. But ultimately, Carter found his way back to his true passion of working in agriculture.
Carter’s favorite WILD core value is Disciplined Execution. He shared, “To me, it’s the importance of executing any task that comes my way and showing integrity by always doing my best performance in everything I do — on and off the farm.”
He attended North Carolina State University, earning an Associate’s in Livestock & Poultry Management and a Bachelor’s in Agricultural Business Management.
When Carter is not at the farm working, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family!
