Chris Barefoot

Chris grew up in Plain View, NC, and first stepped into the world of agriculture back in high school through FFA.
What started with him working with pigs and turkeys eventually led him to cattle — and that’s when he knew he’d found the work he wanted to pursue.
Chris was also part of our Into the WILD internship program, where he deepened his passion for cattle and learned more about the industry from the ground up.
He attended North Carolina State University, earning an Associate’s in Livestock & Poultry Management and a Bachelor’s in Agricultural Business Management.
When he’s not on the farm, Chris enjoys fishing, golfing, spending time with family, and NC State football. Go Pack!
